Fan Art Friday: May The Fourth Be With You

I know this is supposed to be May of Marvels, and as such, you were probably expecting this Fan Art Friday to feature Marvel fan art. But since this is May the Fourth, I couldn't pass off doing something Star Wars related. So Star Wars this week, and Marvel the next few weeks.

Star Wars: Rey and BB-8 by daekazu

You must be swift as the coursing river, with all the force of a great typhoon...

...With all the strength of a raging fire, mysterious as the dark side of all three moons!

I won't say that I'm super excited for the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story movie coming out, but it is starring my favorite character in the original trilogy, so I'm at least curious to see what it's like.

A plucky princess requiring the assistance of a dashing rouge in order to meet her goals? Sounds somewhat familiar. Why didn't I see the resemblance earlier?

My favorite part of The Last Jedi was getting to see Mark Hamill play a more gristled and albeit disenfranchised Luke Skywalker. My other favorite part was the porgs. They so cute! :D

  1. The "STAR WARS HAN AND CHEWIE FIN" by RobDuenas is my favorite fan art today.

Nothing wrong with throwing a little Star Wars into the mix with your May of Marvels. A little mix and mash is good sometimes. Keeps readers on their toes. In fact I see you threw in some traditional Disney there as well with "I'll Make A Man Out Of You" from Disney's Mulan.

May the fourth be with you, Dudebro!
